Photo Retouching
Photo Retouching describes a broad range of manipulation to an image. The ultimate goal of retouching is to create a more pleasing image for the viewer.
Some typical manipulation techniques include
- Exposure adjustments
- Color adjustments
- Contrast adjustments
- Perspective and size adjustments
- Removal of unwanted elements (i.e. conduit, reflections and trash)
- Adding missing elements (i.e. blue sky, brick, sidewalks and grass)
- Dodging, burning and airbrushing
